Hot Pursuit 2 is the one they should’ve remastered instead of this one. Might be my favourite Need for Speed. This reboot got really dull fer me after a few hours of playing. I found the heavier cars and handling really brought the experience down, especially compared to Hot Pursuit 2 and Criterion’s previous game

Kinda wish I hadda waited to play this, given how annoying the lack of loadouts were in the game, but I’m strongly considering another playthrough on New Game+. But I might wait until I get my PS5, hopefully with a framerate upgrade (which is about all they could do with that game, given the gorgeous graphics and fast

Yeah, I got an email from Walmart. . . 10 minutes after I got my preorders in. By that time the Digital Edition had already been sold out long before that. Both Sony and retailers bungled this big time, at least in terms of customer relations.

Sony also promised that we’d know ahead of time when preorders were available. After last night, we know different. I even managed to get my preorder, but I’m still a little pissed about it.

Yup. This preorder was botched considerably. They really should’ve announced a date like Microsoft did, instead of just letting retailers wing it.

Same here. I rarely buy a game at launch these days anyhow. And one of the last couple of games I bought launch day I regret now. That game being Control. Loved the game at the time, still do - but I feel screwed over with the whole PS5 upgrade debacle, besides the after-launch patches that all games get these days.

Still waiting fer the Canadian price. It’d probably be about $100 more, but it’d be nice to have a confirmation. Gonna get it no matter what, just need to start planning.

I read this article while on the toilet. With the bathroom door open, cuz I’m a lonely bachelor. And I realize now that if I cut a hole in my hallway wall, I’d have direct view of my living room TV.

I don’t think it’s an age thing necessarily. I’m 39, and you just described my exact trajectory of feelings about this stuff exactly.

I’d love to get this. Big nostalgia for the NES, and I find putting LEGO sets together relaxing, which is great stress relief for the times we’re living in. But I recently splurged on the $299 LEGO 1989 Batmobile, so I don’t know if this is in my budget right now.

Ellen will be very happy to hear this news. She’ll be less happy about the name of that GIF.

Actually, I read or watched something recently that discussed that comic. I believe it was based on an earlier draft of the script for Predator 2, where the lead character was Dutch’s brother in order to give it more ties to the first movie. When Schwarzenegger dropped out (even to make a cameo), they changed the

This is a game that tries to be both a racing game and a platforming game, only it falls short in both areas, which are at times in open conflict against one another.”

It happens rarely with me nowadays, but if there is a game I want to preorder - whether it’s the preorder bonus or the pre-load desire - I always wait for the day before release. You still get all the same benefits, but your  money is not locked in for an extended period of time, and - unless there’s a day one embargo

I think he’s gone a bit far this time. Releasing a deadly virus into the world to cancel a tradeshow is a bit much. Reaching levels of supervillainy here. 😊

Yup, this game should be my kinda jam. Played a lot of Peggle when it came to PS4, but fell off it after little while because there were no hooks to keep me going. RPG mechanics should do the trick.

Thanks fer letting me know about this Fahey! I love me some Picross, always looking for new ones fer when I run out of puzzles in the one I’m currently playing. And if this one does something a little different with the formula, that might be a good thing. Will definitely try this out.

I remember playing this back in the day on my SNES. Loved the look of it, as mentioned, but just like a lot of games back then, hard as balls - so you never got to actually see much of the game (unless you had a Game Genie).
