Oh I meant positive compared to Nine Inch Nails, or at least more positive to me, compared to some of my past (and current!) listening tastes.
I only got into her music a few years ago, starting with her self-titled fourth album, and after digging into the rest of her discography, she quickly rocketed up my list of favourite artists of all time. To me, her stuff kinda fills the same area of listening tastes as Nine Inch Nails, where NIN was my angry,…
If I had to guess, I’d say that Sony has them working on a PlayStation 5 launch title. They have a history. Super Stardust HD was the first PS3 game to have trophies, and Resogun was a PS4 launch title. It would make sense.
Add me to the list of people interested in a review of the Mclassic. I’d never heard anything about it before now, and I’m very intrigued. I’d like to know if it’s a noticeable upgrade before dropping $133 Canadian on one.

Absolutely loved this game back in the day, playing on my original PlayStation. I played it because of the Mana name, found it to be a completely different game than the original, but ended up enjoying it by its own merits.
When they announced this mode, it didn’t sound like something that I’d be in to, but might be something to try while I wait for the story DLC. What you’ve described here is what I found to be the worst parts of the (otherwise amazing) game, all jammed together and made even worse.
Exciting stuff. Can’t wait to play around with these new tools, and see what crazy stuff the top tier level designers can come up with.
This is Jalopnik. Shouldn’t you be sticking to cars, not video games?
Crap. You just made me wish there was a modern version of Episode I: Racer. Knowing full well that EA would totally fuck that up, and fill it with microtransactions. Ugh.
I played the crap outta this on PSP. Had a really good time. Never played the expansion or the sequel, but I did rebuy the first on PS3. Played Galactrix, and enjoyed it well enough, until I ran into a game breaking bug a nice few hours in and never went back to it. It’s been enough years now that I’m really looking…
I already pre-ordered mine, after watching someone on YouTube give it a rundown. I’m okay with the shortcomings.
According to Digital Foundry, the base One runs surprisingly better than a base PS4. Not a lot better, but it’s unusual given that the base One is less powerful. Probably due to Remedy being Xbox exclusive for so many years, they know the system a little better. If you’ve got a One X, that has the best console version…
I really hope this isn’t true. I know it hasn’t broke into the NPD very much, but I was hoping that there were enough digital sales to make up for it.
I’ve had motion blur bother me in some other games, but never really noticed it in Control. It might just the way that the game is stylized that covered it up for me. That being said, it should still be an option for those that it does bother.
Played it on PS4 Pro, and had a few areas of the game where the framerate tanked, mostly in big battles with a lot going on. Nothing that hurt my overall enjoyment of the game. But if you’re playing on a base system, and things like performance bother you a lot, you might have a bad time. If you can look past that,…
In my experience, most games give you extra trophies with the DLC. They don’t count toward the Platinum, but they do ruin the 100% completion, so they’ll still give you something to go back for.
Oh don’t worry - the game gets harder. Some of the boss fights are incredibly difficult.
“...but the major mystery of the game will be.”
