Oh! Oh! I can't believe I forgot this. Who's Afraid of Virgina Wolf is on Netflix too. You should watch that, in honor of passing on Liz and Dick.

Clue is on Netflix Instant!

Honestly, no. It isn't fun, the camp isn't campy enough, and as I said in last night's thread, there is zero chemistry between the two leads. Burton gives off a barely concealed loathing for Liz (which is obviously aimed at the actress) and there's no sense of why this love story is so epic.

Spoiler: every scene is, like, 45 seconds long. If you look down and back up, a year has passed.

It's 9:30 on the east coast. Your comment was posted at our time, 5:30 am. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that had something to do with it. We delete these spam accounts all the time. They're annoying, not abusive, so if they hang around for a little bit, so what?

Oh, yeah, that always chapped my ass too. As long as she got hers, throwing other women under the bus was great.

Wow. This black dress and the grey-streaked wig is really uncannily accurate. That's one of my earliest memories of know who Taylor was, seeing a photograph of her in that dress.

But Talking Dead is on at 11!

'Liz, I've been sitting in this room for 10 seconds and the script says that I've fallen back in love with you and must ask you to marry again, so, here goes...'

Apples and trees, man. Apples and trees.

Boom! And a joke is proved correct.

Oh, yawn. What, did she find some old crib notes of Phyllis Schlafly and write an essay based on them?

You get the distinct impression that not only are they not in love, but Burton is concealing a barely disguised loathing for Liz.

Method acting.

How could they cast two people as world renown lovers who have so little chemistry together?

'Erotic Vagrancy' is the greatest term ever invented.

Yes, I typed excepted instead of accepted. I appreciate your good humor about it.

Ugh. Even the lure of this camp fest is not enough to tear me away from my beloved Walking Dead. I'll tune in when its over. I feel confident that I won't have missed anything.

Almost all of mine did, which I always appreciated.

Unless your instructors are against it, third person plural pronouns are widely excepted as gender neutral substitutes.
