Dancing on Air was a Big Deal when I was middle-school aged. A couple of the dancers came from our school, and everyone acted like they were A-list movie stars.

Shh. You're the first person who's made the connection. But thank you.

I've actually never heard it or the Christmas Shoes, and after what people have been saying, I won't be looking either of them up.

Only when the other 10,000 people asking about Dominic the Donkey do.

I haven't seen it yet. Thanks for ruining it, ruiner.

Mm. I think a general audience would have known about 'slipping someone a Mickey', which was the equivalent of roofies in its day. It's a plot point in both The Maltese Falcon and The Big Sleep, so it showed up in genre fiction of the time period.

Every time someone makes that claim as a factual statement, my brain dies a little.

I think my favorite instance of this was someone complaining on this site last year that people not spoiler the end of the Titanic, which is, you know, a historical event. Like, really?

To be honest, the other reason I guess its Castle is because Fillion looks, uh, a little softer and older around the face than he did on Firefly. It could be the angle, of course. Its unfortunate that he's wearing a button down of almost the exact same color as he wore in Firefly. Mystery!

I'm pretty sure that's Castle based on the background.

Other people on the internet are not obligated to know what your personal read list is. Or view list. I still haven't gotten around to seeing Inception, but that's no one's problem but mine. I can't really ask people not to discuss it online. After a certain point, we all just have to kind of deal with it.
