The PRHT is really nice - when it is down, it is completely out of the way - just like the soft top. It uses the same storage area as the soft top so the trunk is never used for top storage. It takes about 12 seconds for the top to go up or down.

Still, Miatas of the same age, mileage, and condition are considerably cheaper.

ND also benefited from not having to share the platform with the RX-8.

Part of it is the lower mileage of most Miatas - they are often second “fun day” cars so aren’t driven as far.

The 2006 NC is only around 20Kg heavier than the 2005 NB.

Mazda really screwed the pooch with the ND RF. The RF is for people who really don’t want a convertible.

“Do you know how hard it is to go grocery shopping with a Miata?”

Do you think the windshield A pillars would meet rollover standards? I don’t.

The Humane Society of the United States (and not the local Humane Societies) is run by those who are PETA like.

At one point you could get a V-8 in the Mustang without it being a GT. (Mustang LX?) Supposedly the insurance was quite a bit cheaper because it wasn’t the “GT”.

My worst convertible story:

If these engines end up needing diesel engine style emissions equipment this could be a huge mistake.

“I hope nobody has honestly ever wanted that combination.”

“I hear people saying how popular the game is but I don’t actually see that.”

“I go to NCAA men and women’s soccer. It’s a better product and at least more honest. Would the best MLS soccer player make a premier league team?”

“A summer football league would swallow up the MLS immediately.”

Few cars from the early 90's have interiors that look that good by todays standards.

“Props for having this level of ondemand bowel control.”

“Pepsi MAX! It’s.. MAX!”

I use honey on my pancakes and waffles. So much better.
