Take the Mazda 6 wagon. Add in the 2.5L Turbo.
I’m 6 feet tall, and I can adjust the drivers seat in the ATS to what I want, and still fit OK behind the drivers seat. I wouldn’t want to sit in the back for a long trip taking multiple hours, but it would be fine for 95% of the time.

I test drove a SLK 300 a few years ago - it was a 2008 or 2009 model with a manual. Felt kind of sluggish and didn’t really handle in a sporty manner. Ended up buying a NC miata a couple of years later. Less actual power, but with so much less weight it had better response. And far better handling.

I have an NC Miata with the PRHT. If eventually I move on to a ND, I’d want one with a PRHT. While the NF looks great it’s not a full convertible.

My 2004 Mercury sable has 247K miles. No coolant leaks, but did leave me stranded due to a bad camshaft position sensor.
The PRHT takes 12 seconds. And there are aftermarket modules that allow you to raise/lower the top while moving.
