I don't know what this is, but I kinda like it. Do all modern Subaru have lights like this?

I know someone who owns a Pulse. It's in pieces in their garage. I want to rescue it, but it has a significant value in their family (their dad owned the company that built them, or bailed out the company that built them. I don't know, he owned the company somehow.)
