I will be driving to New Orleans from Toronto. It’s almost impossible to drive from Ontario to Louisiana without stopping for fuel/food/hotel in Ohio, Georgia, or Alabama. But I want to boycott Handmaid states during my trip.

The first one was one of the few flicks that has genuinely unnerved me. I’m not thalassophobic in the slightest, nor am I afraid of sharks (quite the opposite, actually,) but it got to me.

I thought he was saying, “MILF.”

Was it just me, or did Fitz drop an F-bomb in this episode? We came back from a commercial break and he said, “Fuck it.”

Still better than Trump.

He seems like he’s super sweet and humble out of character, and it’d be great to see him playing the good guy for a change, but I first noticed him for his goddamn chilling performance in 30 Days Of Night.

Glad I didn’t rent Vox Lux last weekend. It’s been on my to-watch list for a while. Also, 12 Monkeys was a highly underrated show and I’m glad it’ll all be there for easy viewing.

You’re not wrong. I was in Eugene, not Portland, and there was a far-right rally the Sunday I was there. (I didn’t witness it, but flyers for the counterprotest were all over.) The right-wingers are everywhere, but definitely way more prevalent down here.

I really hope she’s able to retire if she wants to. She’s earned a life out of the spotlight a hundred times over by now.
