The show is good about not letting stuff like that just slip by.

Not gonna lie, “Dakota Fanning” and “lover” in the same sentence creeps me out. I know she’s a grown-ass woman now, but I can’t stop seeing her as the little girl from Man On Fire.

Bird tried a surprise launch in Lafayette a few months ago and then in Baton Rouge, but had to pull out of both markets temporarily to allow the cities to establish ordinances. Wouldn’t be surprised if they crop up in the 504 next. In fact, I’m surprised they haven’t already.

That’s definitely part of the Mike Schur touch. He loves to subvert tropes any chance he gets.

This entire article made me want to tear my brain out and stuff it in my office shredder.

Resident Evil: Apocalypse is pretty much the only time I prefer a TV edit over the uncensored one just because Mike Epps had so much fun with it. “Motivator, please!”

Fuck, this was harrowing. I am not okay.

I was so happy that they abandoned the Boyle/Rosa crush so early and put Charles in a stable long-term relationship. I do wish Genevieve would make more appearances, though. Mary Lynn Rajskub is a treasure.

Y’know what? I’m a fan of the movies, as utterly stupid and ridiculous as they were after the brilliant first one. I’m into this, too.

I would be first in line to buy tickets for that movie.

Reminds me of a scene from Mr. Robot:

They’re dumb as hell, but also just buckets of fun.

I love the relationship between Marcus and Willie. It’s one of the most organic mutual trust dynamics I’ve ever read. If the show does right by that, I think it’ll make the whole bloody affair that much stronger.

Maybe he’s bi.

I’m so happy that y’all are still doing regular coverage of this show. It deserves it. Syfy apparently agrees, since they announced on Tuesday that they’ve renewed The Magicians for season 5.

The fact that there’s a black comedy starring Natasha Lyonne and produced by Amy Poehler and AVC isn’t salivating in anticipation is further proof that we’re living in the darkest timeline.

No special mention of The Umbrella Academy? The comic series is surprisingly good, so I’m looking forward to it.
