Basically, there is no one running shoe for everyone. Some running shoes are perfect for some people some of the time.

The perfect response.

You logged out and starred your own response. Nobody is taking the time to read responses to this post a week after the fact. You recommended your own response. That's truly, truly amazing.

I was being sarcastic- no elite runners wear those shoes. Scroll down for two seconds before you reply to a post that's over a week old, because just maybe someone else has made the exact same point eighty times before you.

Yeah....wait what the fuck was this rant about? Because I care about high school kids breaking 4:00 in the mile, and I never owned a letter jacket, and I'm disturbingly thin.

Well yeah...but also those shoes are shitty for running and no serious runners wear them for anything but a mile here and there of strides. No elites wear them, ever. I was being sarcastic.

Ok.

C- they never, ever train barefoot or in barefoot-type shoes and I was being sarcastic.

I'm sorry you felt I was being a jerk.

Christ just shut up. You're taking seriously and commenting on a five-day old sarcastic post instead of looking at the fifty other responses that are just as oblivious but still more intelligent sounding than yours. Save your internet commentating for subjects you know half a flying fuck about.

Yeah, I read somewhere that kids who did gymnastics and jujitsu never, ever, ever get injured.

I will not rest until my sarcasm has been conveyed far and wide. Ugh. Thank you for your continued support!

maybe if you read a few more responses you would see that I was being sarcastic? Maybe they don't really run barefoot, ever?

Just scroll down like, I dunno, three or four comments.

:( my face-palming pain is your pleasure. Lord, what my post wrought.

You took a lot of time to respond to a sarcastic comment with a lot of information about a subject you know little about. Kenyan and Ethiopian elite runners do wear shoes to run, and to walk, and to train, and to race. I was being sarcastic.

Sigh....I just don't know man....

So we need glasses because evolution wasn't perfect, but we shouldn't wear shoes, because evolution. Huh.

glad to see you are putting that English degrees from Oberlin to good us.

No.
