I wish (for your sake and the dog’s) that this guy would just realize that he’s never going to be able to provide the stable environment that this dog deserves and hand over ownership. The dog is in it’s midlife at this point and should be able to live out his senior years with as little anxiety as possible.

shoot we all joked around in the family that my mom’s dogs were her favorite kids. She was like “what? I have them for 14 years tops, I’ve already had you longer than that.”

can you chip and register the dog in your name? He’s basically abandoned the dog if he hasn’t fed, housed, paid for medical expenses over the past few years.

I don’t understand why it upsets people or that why they would be offended by someone calling themselves a “dogmom” or “dogdad” they aren’t taking anything away from you. Sometimes I will ask if I can bring my dog... but I would never just RSVP plus 1 furbaby. (unless it’s my mom’s house... he’s her granddog damnit, he doesn’t need an invite) .

I feel like losing a pet IS losing a family member, but it’s not the same as losing a human family member. I’ve lost pets, and I’ve lost grandparents, an aunt and uncle, and a brother... none are the same.

ummmm and if you missed Rock of Love, you DEFINITELY missed Rock of Love Bus, which was so awesome and petty.
