Would you also like to add the W8 B5 Passat to that list? lol

I love that Lada with a Toyota grille. lol
I personally think the e34 wagon looks much better.
taillights/flashers can’t be on a moving piece (in other words, must be visible if car is parked with tailgate open) ... im sure they did it for styling sake to match the sedan/coupe and not design a small light / one that is multi-piece. Either way, yes, awkward and useless.
The car is a manual even! Goes to show that the average bear is now officially smarter than the average US citizen!
As this is a normal occurrence, wouldn’t the logical thing to do be to lower the pavement level by 2 feet leading up to and away from the bridge rather than risking destroying the bridge / people dying?
I bet they’re at least 10x better than the ones on my 03 Jetta. If it wasn’t for the dash lights turning on, I almost wouldn’t even know if they’re on or not. And that’s with clear lenses, new bulbs and adjusted exactly the way they should be.
I’m pretty sure if everyone that could potentially drive it denies it, they just pin it on whoever owns the vehicle.
Probably doesn’t really make anything anyway with a turbo that big bolted to 670cc’s, so no worry there. lol
That v-twin has a max speed of 4000rpm ... and that turbo looks pretty damn big for the displacement anyway (looks bigger than what’s on my 1.8t VW)... when does it spool up/make boost? At 3500?
Mmmmmmm Suuuuupraaaa!
Realistically: once the cost of repairs (at one time) will cost half of what the car is worth, it isn’t worth it ... for example in my case, I have an old VW Jetta that needs a lot of suspension work, axles etc ... simply not worth it to me.
Driver is a real Dumas.
1. $4000 to lower an old Passat daily driver? Owner is out of his mind.
I’ve been eyeballing the Elantra Sport w/ a manual for a while, but I am from the “no car payments” camp and just can’t bring myself to do it.
Subaru. Reliable, great in wintery weather, depending on what you get half way decent at minor off-road-ish driving, and very cheap and easy to fix and maintain if something does break.
People need to just get over it. There is nothing wrong with the BMW engine.
More like rim job, but yeah whatever.
What I have always done (and will continue to do, hopefully with very low frequency ha!) is this:
Ha! Leave it to the e31 to have more bolts securing the seats!
