It’s only surprising that they didn’t settle faster, but I appreciate what Dominion gave us. All those Fox News personalities and their stupid texts. $787 million out of Rupert’s wallet. Another nail in the coffin of #stopthesteal. Not a bad haul.
Seriously. Dominion isn’t responsible for taking down Fox or bringing some measure of satisfaction to people who hate Fox (count me in that group). They were paying their lawyers to do what was in the best interest of the company and they did an exemplary job.
Would you be shocked to learn that Iowa is only one of 50 states, and each state gets to by-and-large manage their own affairs and pass their own laws?!
“A close friend of mine respectfully requests you notify my office when the employ of 16-17 yr old Hooters servers commences in the Great State of Iowa.” - Rep. Matthew L. Gaetz, Florida District 1.
You’re not playing Wordle if you’re not playing on Hard Mode.
The youngest millennials are 26 years old. At least google what you’re complaining about before you make yourself look like a fucking moron.
This feels like a uniquely US based problem.
Why is Lifehacker credulously posting this with zero additional original reporting? From the two linked stories, the sources consist of 1) a 75-year-old named “Mark” (really?) and... cops. The NYDN article doesn’t even quote anyone, it’s just “cops say.” It links out to other NYDN articles that you’d assume feature…
Honestly you gotta be a little baby-brained to get bent out of shape over POS tip prompts. Like, use your head. No, the corner store that sells chips and cigarettes does not actually expect a tip, they’re clearly just saving money by paying for a prepackaged POS system.
Note, these are not consumer routers like in the picture, but things that look like servers and live in data centers. Thus the more interesting information on them.
As a millennial who just turned 40, I have to ask you to reframe your reference points of generational ire.

Recognising his error, Schwarzenegger went to get a shovel to dig out the hole. He apologised, saying “I’ll be back”.
If it was bad enough to apparently be damaging vehicles, sounds like there should have been some temporary cover used when not actively being worked on? I’ve seen that done before.
Nobody is suggesting that, merely that the underlying cause of the issue in this particular instance is one of mismanagement. The bank run was a result of that cause.
I would argue that poor management is what drove the collapse, with the bank run being the inciting incident
Automatic No Dice on any car having an airbag equipped steering wheel removed (unless it’s dirt cheap, very old, and an accident is disclosed in the ad). Either it’s been in an accident, or the seller is a complete moron (or both)
Combined with the track-ready brake setup, I suspect this guy used it or intended to use it as a track car. With the racing-type seats, if they are fixed in place, being able to remove the steering wheel is a boon to ingress and egress.
ND. I wanna know about the wreck that caused the airbag to go off. Why else would that goofy aftermarket wheel be there?
