First, “science” didn’t say what the headlines claims it did. The study said 38% of people could get by with a low-range EV. How does that lead to the conclusion that everyone’s (including the other 62% of people) range anxiety is bullshit?

But some people do need longer range, and this “study” didn’t disprove that, clickbait title aside. Of course range anxiety can be legitimate. Plenty of people go on road trips or drive moderately far distances in cold weather.
instead of focusing on range, they should be working on charging speed.
Three-time 4Runner owner here. Yes, they run a long time but a 1990 with 150,000 miles on the clock is not “just getting started in life”. A 2015 with 150,000 miles maybe, but not a 33-year-old truck. It’s like saying a 69-year-old man is just getting started in life because he hasn’t traveled much.
This whole article and you can’t bother to list a single example of a valuable $2 bill?
Newsflash - if your $2 bill is from 1976 and NEWER - It’s worth $2. MAYBE you can convince some sucker to pay more for a CRISP 1976 $2 bill, or if it has a unique serial # (binary, trinary, birthdate) they are worth more but that…
“The expectation is an unsettling throwback to requiring people of color to say “sir” and “ma’am” to the white people they served.”
Dude, love yourself. Buy a better pan to cook your eggs.
Whatever you’re doing that causes eggs to fuse to a pan, please stop it.
I have loosely followed the JKR/Hogwarts drama since it was announced, but I was not terribly informed about the specifics. Some people have been extraordinarily upset, and I had expected some vile stuff from her.
I would argue the internet isn’t pissed...just a group of very vocal people. It doesn’t help either that every blog and gaming blog keeps writing the same story saying the same exaggerated things. The only people really talking about it are blogs looking for clicks. Right now there are 378k people playing it on steam…
You pulled every single one of these from Reddit that was posted 3 says ago... at least give some credit or pretend to be original? https://www.reddit.com/r/NoStupidQuestions/comments/10tt1hd/dont_water_a_grease_fire_dont_mess_with_a_garage/
The urine one is also a great way to get out of meetings and family dinners.
That would involve FAR more effort than this so-called writer puts into any of her contributions here.
An interesting article would look into the last twenty years of predictions made by the Farmers Almanac and compare it to the weather data from the same time period, looking for trends.
Lifehacker posts with the byline “Elizabeth Yuko” have a 100% probability of being garbage.
Good take, I figured this would come next. All parents with young kids should be relegated to the house until that child can behave more like an adult. Have cross country family? Sucks to be them, hope they have the means to take extra time off to account for drive time and possibly pay extra costs. Otherwise, they’re…
What an extraordinarily ignorant view on children and parenting. This may sound shocking, but tiny children often behave very differently from each other, regardless of the parenting method.
Or you know, it’s based on hours worked in the year. If someone worked only part of the year, they’re definitely not getting the maximum.
Burnout in healthcare (and a bunch of other professions - first responders and teachers for example) is real, rampant, and horrific. Yes, that leads to suicide on occasion, which is also horrific. And we can talk about suicide and what it does to your loved ones all day long, and I think that there’s nothing easy about…
