The Heavens Gate documentary is one of the best cult documentaries I have ever seen by far. Absolutely fantastic.

I bought a bunch of candy this weekend and had my six year old come help me pick it out. Want to know what she was most excited about and what she wanted to have for her treat that day? The super cheap dum dums. I wouldn’t have even bought those if she didn’t want them, now I’m going to have to save some since she

Depending on how long it will be until you need access/your ability to wait a while, high dividend, utility type stocks are an option. You can get around 4% dividend yield on a stock that isn’t very volatile. You just might have to wait longer than you originally wanted to if we see a dip in the market. I have a plan

What would make you think an incredibly volatile asset would be a good choice for storing money for the distinct purpose of low volatility?

Also think it’s ugly

Yeah the original Narcos is about the Columbian cartels and Narcos: Mexico is a spinoff focusing on the Mexican cartels. There is some overlap between the two but are mostly separate stories.

Reverse nordics are great! Also a useful exercise if rehabbing a hip flexor. Barbell Medicine recommends them in their hip pain guide and prescribed them to me when I had a consult about hip pain.

My immediate thought was, ew why? But then I thought about it and this sounds really good and something I would have never thought of.

Interestingly enough, exercise can help regulate appetite but weight training in particular, can increase appetite for some

New Narcos is good to see, those have been excellent

Why wouldn’t you prioritize your highest margin vehicles when there is a chip shortage? Sounds like they are actually making smart business decisions.

Having worked in this industry before I can tell you for certain that for at least one of the big names in bottled water (that is purified and not spring water or the like) a lot more goes into it than just bottling tap water. The margin really isn’t even that impressive on that product, sodas net more.

Yep, I’ve been coming to these sites since the 2010-2011 timeframe and it’s really sad what it has turned into. A lot of these sites used to be really really good and now it’s more something to check out of habit than anything.

There is hardly any interaction happening here anymore and anytime someone in the grays comments I can’t even see it to star it because when I click show pending they all disappear. I’m pretty sure hardly any of the bloggers read the comments on their articles and respond as well. It’s not like there’s too much to

We have yard waste bins to accompany our trash and recycling bins so I just toss mine in there, just gotta remember not to wait too long because last year I definitely had a pile of goo on my front porch...

Watch any competitive powerlifter’s face turn tomato-red during a squat, and you’ll know they’re doing it, too.

I really can’t stand the massively excessive arches like what you see from people like the douche canoe Sean Noriega but it’s part of the sport so rock it if you got it until the rules change. I’d much rather watch a TD Smash or John Haack style bench but powerlifting isn’t a contest of what looks better.

There’s too much money in “this one simple trick” and fad diets

Calorie deficits are fine in theory and in real life because that’s how weight loss works. There are many ways to skin that cat but that’s what it comes down to at the end of the day. Yes, the overall situation is very complex and the message of “just eat less” doesn’t work. Not because being in a caloric deficit

Yeah my olive oil sits right by my stove and I’ve never had a problem. It also sits beside my knife block so I guess I’m just going against the grain with this article. If I had more cabinet space I probably would have less stuff on my counters but I don’t and won’t so here we are.
