I’m shocked at how clean this looks, and glad that they could resist dropping an LS engine in it. 

Z3 isn’t bad. Think it was the last Bimmer with near majority manual sales. Properly small for a roadster, though a bit chonky on the scales. Also gave us the greatest BMW commercial of all time, by far. Part of why I am certain BMW has lost it’s way is that there’s no way I can picture today’s BMW putting out this as:
