The axles are the same size as the original CJ/MB D44 and it sounds like parts will interchange between the old CJ axles and modern Roxor axles, might be the same with the transfer case too. IIRC, David noticed that the front axles and steering was similar to the later CJ design.

The Van had a 3Y-C or 4Y-E engine. They were an OHV engine, the 22R was OHC.
