That would be the sane thing to do. It’s been well documented how many good decisions that the conglomerate that is Nissan/Renault have made in the past.

I was thinking just this line, but in my use case, the payout for the utility trailer happened in less than a year.

I can easily see where they’d replace the new ranger with this vehicle.

Small utility trailers are the tool for this. 

This presumes that the blue oval is in a fiscal place to make a big buyout.  All of the news I’ve seen about them is that’s not the case currently.

I’m a little dissapointed that there aren’t entries for ‘wings and Speed Triples.

Sadly Nicoli died before he could realize that endgame and no one else has been smart enough to even attempt to figure it out.

BMW tried this with the i3's range extender.  The only thing I can assume is that there’s energy math that doesn’t work out when you do this, as pretty much every other hybrid is a parallel hybrid, where the engine helps from time to time instead of a series hybrid, where the engine only charges a battery. 

In defense, one less thing to rattle when it gets older? 

I’m not sure how many of these things with good, straight bodies are left.
