Well, the intro specifically says it’s for people who aren’t fans of the Texans.

Re: “based on notes”

And on that note, I’d like to say that I hope you and yours are someplace safe right now.

Airlines most certainly would need to be in on it, but you're dodging the central question: Why? Who is "keeping people quiet"? Who benefits? Maybe you don't know for sure, but you must have a theory. I'm honestly not even trying to mock you; I sincerely want to know.

Aw, man, I hadn't heard this was in the works, and now I really, really want it.

You might not be real, and maybe you'll never see this, but I always ask when I have the chance: Obviously, if the earth is flat, there is a massive, sprawling conspiracy to convince people it's round, involving NASA, the airlines, every meteorologist, physicist, etc. etc. etc.
So why are they engaged in this? Who is

I've seen "globe-heads." I guess that must be the PC version.

Where they rank depends on the criteria. On the evil scale, they're basically harmless, unlike anti-vaxxers or antisemites. But on the stupidity scale, they've gotta be right at or near the top. They don't even have a coherent explanation as to *why* this massive conspiracy exists. I mean, isn't that like Conspiracy

You're right, it can be intense, just in a much quieter, more internal, psychological sort of way, if that makes any sense.

Yeah, the overwhelming shittiness of most of the last decade's rap-rock makes it harder to describe FNM without making them sound shitty as well. "Basically rap-rock, only way more varied and awesome" is a hard sell.

It's almost harder for Breaking Bad fans, because the shows are so different. If they go in expecting BB2, they'll be disappointed. I had a friend tell me she hadn't tried BCS because BB was so intense, and she wasn't ready for that level of intensity in another show.

I've definitely been in that situation in the real world. Ever have someone try to recommend the band "Dawes" to you? Hard to explain why the mere existence of that band seems silly.

It's might be easier to understand for a person familiar with old-timey, pre-TV radio shows.

"It's like a radio show, except you download it from the internet onto your phone and listen whenever you want."
Done.

I've subscribed to that one because it sounded cool, but the absurd lengths of each episode discouraged me from actually diving in. On the other hand, five-hour eps might be worthwhile when taking on such big topics. Are the episodes at least divided into chapters or something?

"There's a kind of sick grandeur to Cameron's staging of the disaster that most other movies of this scale can't accomplish — you truly feel the hubris involved (maybe because the movie itself is an act of hubris)." This is an interesting point; well said.
Like I said, the movie largely succeeds at what it's trying to

No, it would not have. It was a bad attempt at a joke about how dull I found the film.

I haven't seen Titanic in two decades, but I'll give it a shot.
The central relationship is generic and dumb. Why should I care that these two people want to fuck? Answer: I don't, and I'm certainly not buying these two horny kids as some sort of love story for the ages.
The characterization in general is incredibly

I once got fired for being scared of bees.

Louisiana has sales tax holidays from time to time. And it's a terrible idea, as are most tenants of Louisiana fiscal policy.
