I’m so ashamed to have been born in Quebec. Sad to leave, but I can’t stay anymore.

I like it

It would make sense in countries where internet is reasonably accessible, cheap and fast; like Japan, Korea or some countries in Scandinavia/Europe. But Third World Internet countries like Canada and US where bandwidth prices are insane and monopolized, it just seems crazy to try and justify such streaming platforms.

Every single one of my babie- I mean soldiers in Fire Emblem Awakening (also Three Heroes now)

So, Jagged Alliance?

Seemed so sweet and heartfelt from them, until the last line in the article, lol.

Disgaea, any version T_T I love these games with a passion, but haven’t even finished the main campaign in any of them.

Agreed, she’s a stellar businesswoman and an amazing marketer. I have nothing but respect for her

The same sh*t that politicians say over and over. Of course it doesn’t benefit gamers. This horsesh*t about “reinvestment” and “price reduction” is ridiculous. Companies always have and always will be about their bottom line. Making more money will not go into more games or lower prices, it certainly will simply go

I didn’t like Evangelion, but I’m definitely glad I watched it. It’s a classic, a trendsetter, revolutionary for it’s time, but I still didn’t enjoy watching it. But I think that’s the whole point, you aren’t supposed to like the characters, they’re all heavily flawed with few redeeming qualities. The story is

I mean, if you look at Asian countries’ “culture of cuteness” as it’s called, I think they do a pretty good job of “infantilizing” themselves, I wouldn’t say it’s Western society that is doing it (at least they didn’t start it). Just look at Japanese/Korean/Chinese anime/manga/manhwa, women’s fashion in Asian

Not exactly tower defence, but Factorio is pretty great for keeping that mind occupied and focused. You can always turn off the aliens too if they’re too stressful

As a fat gamer, I didn’t get offended by any of it, I thought it was both hilarious and very relatable. It’s not just a stereotype. Of course not all gamers are fat or lazy, and not all gamers use it as a coping mechanism. But on the other hand, a lot of them are and do.

Oh no

These articles read to me like someone who has an addiction problem. Maybe it’s because you’re a tech journalist, but your seeming complete reliance on your devices is kind of alarming. I don’t think your experiences really constitute the norm.

Not really... Typical ‘saving face’ type of apology from a Japanese company. They knew exactly what they were doing, they just want to look like they’re sorry.

Domestic Girlfriend’s protagonist is a student, not a teacher. Kind of makes a big difference in the context lol

to be fair, at the time, when playing through it, I was thoroughly impressed.

Don’t want to tarnish the image of our crime simulator’s main character by having him played by... a criminal......

“Catbag” lol
