“Even if you have all wheel drive”

It’d be interesting to see how worn winter tires perform. So basically simulate a year or 2 of winter driving and then do the test. If all seasons still outperform winters at that point, then I could see their point.

Wait. So you NEVER watch any video of any kind “on the internet”?
How is that even possible? Like you’ve never googled “how do I...” and found a youtube video and watched someone explain?
Never watched a band perform? A clip from a favorite show?
This ranks up there as one of the strangest things I’ve ever heard right

Nokians >>>>>>>> all other snow tires.

Altimax RTs are wonderful year round tires.

Trying to get you out of the greys!

I went from a set of General Altimax (very well reviewed for the money) snow tires on my FRS to some Firestone Winterforce 2 because they were on sale from Tire Rack when the Generals needed replacing. I’d say the brand new Firestones were a minimal step up from the worn out Generals.

“ It’s got to be embarrassing for the likes of Pirelli and Goodyear to see their winter tires outperformed by a set of all-seasons.”

Have you seen the American ass?

Ahh fuck me! Now we are about to get a bunch of unskippable warning and crap every time we try to use Google maps.

I’m sure the dude was good and liquored up when he Dukes of Hazzard’ed his stupid Jeep off the river bank and landed upside down in that creek

Google street view from one direction in may 2023. The lack of signage isn’t good, but driving through or around the blocks on either side, straight into trees/shrubs.. come on here.

Of course the photo won’t attach

But Google doesn't have a legal liability since they aren't in charge of road safety. Maps is a convenience service, not an official entity of road safety.

Three people (or groups of people) are responsible: The owners of the bridge, which I understand was private, had a responsibility of care to close off access, the crooked or incompetent optometrist who cleared the unfortunate driver for an eye test, and the driver who had a responsibility to watch where the fuck he

Meh, it could be worse. With my luck it would be this

No signage? No barriers? I’m genuinely confused. If the bridge is out, why is the road open? Roads don’t just end at washed out bridges, unless you’re off in the boonies. If this is a regularly-enough-travelled road for someone to be using as a route home, and the bridge has been out for nine years, there are going to

Why wouldn’t the same thing have happened with a paper map?

Shouldn’t be up to google who is providing a free service to be responsible for keeping you safe driving. The property owner of the bridge, whoever that may be, should be the one who is held liable as there were no signs or barricades. I had read that there was confusion on who actually owned it. Regardless, this is

Also, this guy lived there as he was traveling home from a bday party for his kid, how did he not know the bridge was and had been out? Who is taking random drives home at 11pm to their house?

And for 9 years there was no barricade or bridge out warning signs?
