Yes!  Most winter tires are amazing when new simply because of the tread depth.  I’d like to see a test where they are half-worn across the board.

I used to run the Altimax winter tires on my cars.  I’ve moved on to Cooper Evolution Winter for my rides now and am super happy with them.  And they’re surprisingly made in the USA.
