I grit my teeth every time I see people awaiting rescue while surrounded by less than knee deep water.  Wankers!

I have teleoperated a vehicle off-road at 65mph using a very low latency system. Although I had excellent control, I had no sense of what was going on dynamically. I liken it to the kid who gets too confident with their new R/C car and ends up flipping it over a curb.

Ahh, yes, I remember this thing.  Thanks for the reminder!  It was a novel idea.  Crash test videos would have been amazing.

What the hell is this disproportionate thing lurking over Iacocca’s shoulder? It looks like the front end of a Pontiac Montana grafted onto a Scion iQ.

I would like to buy to, if nothing else, electrocute and subsequently incinerate the chipmunk living in the vicinity of my home that has developed an affinity for chewing automotive wires.

When going the pre-owned route, when should I insist on getting an independent inspection before purchase? It would seem obvious in something like a Craigslist sale. Are you entertaining ideas for next year’s Easter Jeep Safari?

Yes, preach!

“The plant set an all-time monthly production record by delivering 896 M4s in December 1942.”

Craftsmanship. Experts in their respective fields were cranking out product with minimal engineering/design involvement. Those craftsmen were then teaching others how to do the work for mass production.  This type of system works very well as long as you have the right people in the right positions.

Perhaps what he meant is that prices for gas cars will continue to climb until they reach equilibrium. I mean, heated ass ticklers and contra-rotating knutson valves don’t pay for themselves.

Good as long as you don’t “shoot your eye out”.
