Interesting that he’d install a brand-new looking steering damper on it then...

Note that the rearmost axle has a tie rod and steers. I wonder if it actively steers or is bump-steered like those on the back of an Oshkosh concrete mixer truck. Either way, nice consideration as this would be tire-scrub city without it.

I’ll bet that one right in front of the driver does an awesome job on the highly curved part of the glass.

Look at the upper right corner of your windshield next time you are driving in snow/rain/whatever. Note how the arc of the wiper doesn’t clear the corner. That’s on the passenger side for a reason. If the wipers run the other way, that uncleaned area will hamper the driver’s vision.

Came here to post that one. Here’s your star.

That collector is upside down. Straight up... through the hood... like a flame throwing unicorn from hell is clearly the answer.

I sincerely hope this HOA has a rule about not letting cars idle in driveways to warm up due to theft concerns.

FIFY

I’ve been in love with the General Altimax Arctic for many years now and have had them on several cars. They are fairly cheap and are great in the snow, ice, and slush.

Yep, it operates at VERY LOW RPM.

Now playing

Indeed. All this semi needed was a 4 horsepower tug to get it moving again:

Love the little tray under the dash. Reminds me of AMC Concord/Spirit/Eagle.

This makes me think of the bozos who were intentionally running out of gas in 2011 (when gas prices recently peaked) so that they could receive their benefit of 10 free gallons from roadside assistance. I can’t find it, but Detroit News ran a story about this back then.

That works too!

The experienced mechanic horse-trader never tries to start the ultra-cheap/”I can’t get this to run” machine in the presence of the owner. Because once you unstick the float/reconnect the coil wire/whatever minuscule fix is in order in front of the seller, the price ALWAYS suddenly jumps up.

Please please please let it be emblazoned with “TRUMP” in giant golden letters encrusted around the edges with rubies and sapphires, complete with orange marquee lights (one of which is burned out). #MakeTheSpaceStationGreatAgain

Corollary: Never, ever, under any circumstances, rent a car on a debit card.

When these first came out I was in awe and would have done anything to own one (if I had the resources at the time). Now, I look at it and say, ‘Meh’...
