Let me know when the story is who is faster/better/has more luck than who again. Actually, let me know if they ever revert to driving real cars again. THAT is something I would watch.

What a silly soap opera. I haven’t paid any attention to NASCAR in 20 years. It’s gone full WWE as far as manufactured storylines and structured drama.

Is it wrong that I hope this guy is operating the train?

Starter relay will handle 12V.

Conversion to 12V starter is not necessary. My CJ3B and my 6V tractors from the 1940's can start on 12V without modification the starter.

I have a Delco 1-wire 12V setup on my 1953 CJ3B. I added a ballast resistor from an old Chrysler between the 12V+ and the coil. No changes to the starter are necessary to run on 12V (if you can get it rebuilt and/or working). I was able to use part of the stock generator bracket (with some spacers to get pulley

Can’t see what’s covered in SNOW!

Those are hands

At least it wasn’t lemon flavor.

Does the rest of the 12 pack of berry flavored La Croix come with it?

Oldest tractor was a 1919 Samson Model M. What was it like? Bumpy, and SLOOOW....

1928 Ford Model A. What was it like? Cramped, but otherwise pretty easy and fun to drive.

As long as it has a lifetime warranty, this is a good way to march yourself over to Sears/SnapOn guy/whatever to get a nice, shiny, new one.

Anyone who hammers on the end of a wrench or ratchet to loosen a fastener is not allowed in my shop. When dealing sketchy fasteners on old iron, you’re best to leave the impact wrench in the drawer and loosen stuff by hand. If you’re careful and experienced, you can ‘feel’ the difference between a fastener that is

Yep, I stopped reading after I read that he was heating up the bolt HEADS to remove them. I think David just lost me as a reader of his content.
