Flagship (Capcom), not Konami. Nintendo still owns the games so they could absolutely remake them if they wanted.

But the point is there were the same rumors last year and we now know they DID have a new Switch model coming out and they never went and made a statement saying there wasn’t one coming, only that they wouldn’t be showing new hardware at E3. If they wanted to trick people into buying Switch’s even though the Lite was

There’s a big dfference between saying “We won’t be showing new models at E3", which is what actually happened in both of those cases, and saying “We won’t be releasing new models at all this year”.

They never denied last January that there'd be no new Switch models in 2019 and the rumors were even more pronounced back then.  If they actually planned on releasing a new model this year they'd be keeping their mouths shut.

Even if it came out alongside it, BOTW2 was never going to be exclusive to it so it wouldn’t make sense to delay it. They want Zelda out to compete with the next-gen consoles.

There’s no reason the Switch Pro couldn’t be (and every reason to believe it will be) just like Xbox One X and PS4 Pro. No exclusives, just better performance. People are shelling out $60 for technically impressive, but severely downgraded, ports of games like Witcher 3 and Doom just because they want to play them on

You’re probably thinking of them saying thay they wouldn’t be showing new hardware at E3, and they didn’t. They announced the Switch Lite a few weeks later. They did the same thing when they announced the New 3DS.

Exactly. When people are resorting to crap like this instead of actually playing the game, there’s probably something wrong with the game itself. It reminds me of the Destiny loot cave exploit, people would rather just sit there shooting into a hole if that’s a quicker way of getting loot. This battle pass thing has

You didn’t actually respond to anything I wrote (which should probably tell you something about your position) and instead tried to make the case that a single-player story based RPG set in medieval Europe was justified in featuring Europeans, that a multiplayer non-story based military shooter set in a fictional

“I can’t recall anyone complaining that a game set in Japan is probably going to be mostly filled with Japanese people, I assume because people realize that this makes sense for it’s setting.”

It’s true, it’d be pretty funny for them to put out a new playable trailer called SH” and then at the end reveal it’s a new KojiPro game called “Pierced Time” or something. With how well known PT still is, ending up on a bunch of Games of the Decade lists, it seems almost inevitable that they’ll do something like

Overwatch still catches crap for popularizing loot boxes but they’re probably the only game that actually has a player friendly implementation. They’re totally optional but it’s still fun to get and open one. Rocket League’s loot boxes were absurd, “Hey, you earned a loot box, now pay $2 to open it and get 1 whole item

A cheaper, discless system makes a ton of sense if they decide to heavily subsidize that version to both undersell PS5 as well as encourage people to give up the ability to purchase cheaper, resellable games. They can afford to lose some money up front if they’re locking people in to paying for higher margin digital

That “parity clause” meant that they wanted it to launch on Xbox at the same time as other platforms, not necessarily first. I havent heard it mentioned in years though so I don’t know if that policy even still exists. Killer Queen Black is a good example, it was announced to be launching into GamePass but it has

It’s been announced as launching into Game Pass so it’s possible MS is helping out a bit, but they also said they just needed to focus on one platform and after that it's fairly simple to then do PS4 and Switch versions. I'd imagine they'll all launch simultaneously anyway.

I’m excited about this as a believer in the future of VR. At some point someone needed to step up and make a full AAA VR title and that was bound to ruffle the feathers of people who aren’t sold on VR yet. But part of the reason those people aren’t sold on VR is because games like this have been few and far between.

“For example an announcement that Scarlet can play every Game Pass game already announced would be a HUGE boon to Xbox’s early generation push.”

As an Xbox fan (One X is my main console but I also have a Switch and PS4/PSVR for exclusives), I was left hoping that this show was so bad because they’re saving all their big announcements for the Scarlett reveal. Gamepass continues to be incredible, and all of the best news out of X019 was related to it (Final

“And remember, all of these games need to be purchased separately, in addition to Stadia’s $10 monthly Stadia Pro subscription cost.”

Tarsier is a great studio, in addition to Little Nightmares they made Statik, one of the best games on PSVR. This game sounds at least partly like a co-op Crazy Taxi, I wonder how the co-op mechanics work while driving.
