Got caught swapping plates- my Subaru was dead, I bought a salvage pickup truck, had to wait a few weeks before the DMV rep was going to be in town to inspect it so I could get a proper r-title and register it, so I just stuck the plate from the Subaru on it and tried to drive carefully.

Reverse: It’s not going to make any difference unless California (and like-minded states) changes their tune as well, and I don’t think that’s very likely.

  • This car isn’t legal, despite having a Florida title. Florida will issue a title and plates for a Radio Flyer wagon.
