The buy here/pay here lots are predatory as hell. Many people never end up paying those cars off.

But it’s one of only 37 Mustang convertibles sold in 1996 with the V6 engine and automatic transmission in purple with a beige interior and white top. It’s rare! I know what I have!

Why does every retiree with a plastic-bumper C3 Corvette think it’s worth a shit-ton of money??

I like the way you think.

Needs moar rally.

Of course not, McParland! How obvious do you need to get?

PA lets you transfer plates so it’s likely the plate came from another car the seller owned.

Nissan Bluebird SSS. Back in 1997 I was driving a 1990 Nissan Stanza, my first car. In the US they were just FWD with a 140hp KA24E engine... but in Japan you could get the turbocharged, AWD, rally-ready SSS!

I don’t think they’re going to be inclined to spend the money...

Here in the US I was always a fan of the hatchback version of that generation Accord.

Depends on the state.

Now that we’re living in the wonderful world of the future there are apps for the little computer you carry in your pocket that can do all this for you. Hooray for technology!

The story about the guy claiming the dealership was out to get him because the payment was higher than he wanted really hits home. When I was on the sales floor we’d run into that CONSTANTLY.

Where are you located and how much you looking at for the CA16DE? The DET could be fun but I’m more interested in just restoring the car and keeping it original.

I have the standard hatch as well. Wish I had the canvas cover. I used to be on a Pulsar forum and not a single person there had ever seen one. Seems like they were a very limited option in Japan only.
