It may be rare, it may be immaculate, and it may even be somewhat fun to drive. But it’s still a 1990 Pontiac Grand Prix and $14k is a hell of a lot of money.
Actually it’s an Opel rebadged as a Vauxhall rebadged as a Saturn.
Yes, they’re amazingly popular in Canada. Were it not for the Canadian market I think FCA would’ve discontinued them years ago.
The Jeep brand name carries a lot of weight and pulls many more people into the showrooms than the car would by itself. Even though these cars are just a souped-up Dodge Caliber people still flock to them because they think it’s a great 4x4 just because it’s a Jeep. These are the same people who call off work when we…
Chrysler updated the interior and exterior styling of the Sebring, released it as the Chrysler 200, and continued to make it through the 2014 model year.

Lamborhini LM002.
Koenigsegg CCX. Swedish cars are known for being safe, practical, and a bit quirky but still rather tame. Like Ikea on wheels.

On the note of cheesy slogans, I always chuckle at the one on a crappy garage sitting in between a line of BHPH’s that I pass on my way to one of our dealerships.
BHPH lots buy all our unwanted junk trade-ins at the auction too. Those 150,000 mile cars we get traded where our mechanic says it needs $3000 worth of work to pass state inspection? These guys snatch them right up, clean and polish them, and have them sitting on their front line the next day with a “Must See! $99/mo…
My experience in the car business tells me that the majority of them don’t report a thing to your credit until you start making late payments.
