Your opinion is just that... :)

63 actually :(

As upsetting as these events are, it’s important to keep the numbers in perspective. Bird die-offs like the one in Mexico are dwarfed by the harm caused by humankind.

Don’t forget that a reservoir - especially one related to HEP - is a pretty sterile environment when it comes to ‘flora and fauna’ (often changing water levels, cold and dark and often anoxic in the depths, etc) - which is why there is such beautiful preservation and little silting back from the dam / main channel...

Government job: “The pay for things like engineers and other careers isn’t the best but for non-STEM it’s outstanding especially. I know plenty of folks making 90k+ a year in jobs that would be 30% less outside of the government.”

Your other summary points are pretty spot on though...

Just seven?  /s

Moneylenders on Discworld were worse than US’s Pay Day Lenders used to be in the 00s, which is saying something!

Really? I thought they were the wonderful piss take intended...

Your 2nd point is how writer’s of satire and parody work, and even then you are IMHO overall inaccurate... he was sharp about these, especially from a Brit perspective (read about British Leyland’s workers in the 60s onwards for instance...)

bad credit and huge deposits, keeping you off the proverbial housing ladder... meaning you can’t save and are less able to improve your credit... ‘rinse and repeat’...

  • You buy cheaper food that is way worse for you  - meaning your are less able to work well in the long term and have more costly health issues...

Came for the spluttering apple fanboys (and they mostly seem male) - and was not disappointed...
