My XPS13 with 4k - although not a gamer - is perfectly readable - except for old software (in my case ArcGIS 10.x) that does not ‘know how’ to scale its text, menus, etc in Win 10 (I use mostly ArcGIS Pro 2.6 now anyhow...)
