This made me actually giggle resulting in looks from coworkers. Well done, Pinkam.

Mr. Who and I currently live with my parents and I have had to bite my tongue so many items when this shit hit the news. This is how a normal viewing of these news segments would go
So a coworker just walked by and saw this headline. She said “why would he need to be in rehab? He’s just a normal person that got caught.”
Bless her heart.
I am in no way saying Texas education is in any way at its best. I still live in Texas and have my whole life. While there is the heavy handed “we are the only state that was its own country” (even if it was only for 5 seconds) and Remember the Alamo is slammed into our heads, there was still a major coverage of U.S.…
I feel you on everyrhing. Omg the bitching about the weather. It’s Houston so it’s always humid and I had a person once tell me it was way too hot outside and we needed to do something about it. Sure, let me call magic pixie in the sky. Not to mention they had only been waiting outside for ten minutes while I was two…
I work at a tourist trap in Houston (it’s all about spaaace!) and while it’s essentially a museum, people treat it as if it’s DisneyWorld and they should be treated like fucking royalty. So when there is a 2 hour wait for a tour and parents ask me why and I explain the whole concept of a large amount of people wanting…
I know it’s not for everyone but this is one of the many reasons Mr. Who and I chose The Texas Renaissance Festival. Venue (both ceremony and reception, all you can eat turkey legs (among other delicious things on sticks), tickets for your guests and hardly any need for decorations. Altogether it was about $8500. I…
Murder House was the only season I watched. I tried to watch Freak Show but stopped after Gabourey Sidibe was killed. I realized I just didn't care anymore about what happened. Which makes me sad because I missed the NPH episode 😕
I easily get nightmares as well. I jump at the slightest movement (much to Mr. Who’s delight). When we watch The Walking Dead I have nightmares during the week after the show. I watched Murder House and was completely riveted. I loved it and thought it was such a cohesive story. Plus Tate is the best and is everything…
Little Who started 6th grade on Monday (this is the start of middle school in Texas) so she’s on a different schedule and has time in the morning. I showed how to pack her lunch on Monday. She’s down it the rest of the week. My job is done. She can cut her own cucumber stars.
For Fathwr’s Day I spent 4 hours shredding 3 cups of carrots for a homemade carrot cake with this stupid handheld machine because our food processor broke. For what it’s worth, dad said it was better than when mom made it. Luckily he said that out of her earshot
I was making homemade cupcakes for Mr. Who for his birthday. The recipe required a softened stick of butter to be mixed with sugar and then to blend with the other ingredients. I had to repeat the sugar butter step because I may have tasted a little too much.
My thoughts exactly. When Little Who crowned and was 7.6 lbs and 20 inches long, I thought I was going to die and expressed that vocally. Apparently I scared the poor woman in the room next to me that was about to go into labor.
Me too! We didn’t get out but there were signs about not taking pics because it was a darker ride and the walls lit up as you rode by.
A bunch of friends and I went in 2009 and rode the Snow White ride. It shut down for a couple minutes and all the lights came on. One of the girls I was with asked everyone to take pictures quickly but nobody got out of the ride. We at least new better than that 😣
I work at Space Center Houston on the tram tours and we, unfortunately, have not banned selfie sticks. People will stick the damn things out of the trams even though we always tell them to keep objects and limbs inside. Guess who has to stop the damn tram when you drop your stupid selfie stick and your phone on a…
My mom’s wedding dress was bought secondhand from a divorced woman. Not only did my mom wear it but so did several of her cousins. None of the marriages ended and all the couples are happy. Sometimes great items come from unexpected places.
So this is actually only related to contents on t-shirts but definitely stuck with me throughout my life.
