You think there’s QBs with his physical talents coming into the league left and right every year? Talent does not correlate to results, never has, never will. He came into the NFL as big as a DE and running faster than most RBs. And an absolute cannon for an arm. Here’s the first line from his NFL Combine scouting

Nick Young was so inspired by Jared Leto’s depiction of the Joker in Suicide Squad he went out and dropped 2 points on the Orlando Magic.

I’m not gonna disagree that the panthers haven’t always been the most talent rich team, but I’m not sure he’s the generational talent you are making him out to be. Go look over his advanced stats. He’s been top 10 in both qbr and rating in 1 season in his career. He’s been in the bottom third several times. His

FERRY INTERIOR:

“Did that guy on the loudspeaker just say he was going to blow us up in 15 minutes unless someone makes an off-balance 21-foot jumper while double-teamed?”

the Panther’s only other option at that point was...*check notes*...A literal robot who was programmed to throw turnovers and make racial slurs.

Well, that’s the thing. Conservatives (and it’s ALWAYS Conservatives) can never admit the truth. Look at their bullshit about Climate Change. Just be honest and say “Fuck you. I won’t be around by the time all this bad shit happens and I want my cut.” But no, they can’t even do that. Instead they lie about it being a

I swear to god, that run seemed to take FOREVER. I’m not entirely sure it isn’t still happening.

Man, being excited about Kelvin Benjamin coming back from injury and being the key for a Super Bowl victory seems existentially bleak.

I wanted to pedantically disagree with this take, pointing out that there’s no way he could run 20 yds left on a regulation football field.

No flags go Cam’s way...

That’s really a tough contest to win though. Just depends on what Skip Bayless and Lupica are putting out there. You never know when Brett Stephens is gonna come through with a hot take either.

I remember when they went to the Super Bowl it was the year that Kelvin Benjamin was injured and I was like, “Oh man, when Benjamin’s back, it’s gonna be awesome.” Then I had to determine if Benjamin would never return to form or was just never that good. But yeah, he was supposed to be their WR1.....

It SHOULD be, but since there’s a whole article already here about it Drew may look for something else.

Steve Smith has been the best wide receiver he’s ever played with, and it’s not even close. Greg Olsen has been his leading receiver since then. That organization had a generational talent at QB and failed abysmally to put even an adequate supporting cast around him.

And don’t forget the NFL has a standing policy that, unlike Tom Brady or Aaron Rodgers, a defender using his helmet to smash Cam Newton’s helmet (and Russell Wilson’s) is not a personal foul and, in fact, is encouraged.

I’d like to say it’s a lock, but there’s a lot of haughty dip-shittery that can happen between now and publication time.

This is exactly what it is. It’s always been thinly veiled to the point that this racist, white old man who would tell you he’s not racist couldn’t see it, so he blurted it out all together without the veil because he never saw the veil. That reminds me, I need to give my dad a call.

It’s weird to me when people on a sports site don’t know what “over/under" means.

Jeez Paul, why not just wear a sign that says "I'm a racist" on you at all times? Cuz that's one goddamn racist take.

Over under on whether this will be the haughty dipshit take of this week's Jamboroo. There's a good chance I'd say.
