The worst thing about the ending of Blair Witch is that it’s not a jump scare but an eyes-wide-open prolonged moment of pure terror.

The last scene in Blair Witch Project is the first thing I thought of. And I saw it at a midnight screening

I love folk horror. I think we’ve had a few strong folk horror titles in the last decade, with the Witch being the best. Good to see another title upcoming. This will probably flop at the box office tho. 

The bigger question is: why do superhero comic books today spend so much of their time referencing and recapitulating stories that even their current, diminished, aged 20s-to-30s target audience is too young to have read when they first appeared?

He was on every show I watched growing up for some reason. Days of Our Lives. Dark Angel. Smallville. then on Supernatural. Then he stayed on Supernatural.

I take solace in knowing that by now, Hanks’s bookstore would’ve been run out of existence by an online retailer run by JK Simmons called, oh, I don’t know, Nile.

Any biopic theme song with "Wakka-chikka-wakka" in it is good enough for me!

I assume he was protected from serious injury in that situation by his gigantic, shiny brass balls.

Seems odd that a robo-elbow can generate THAT much force. The upper arm is still hers.

Scarlett Johansson almost redeems that movie. Almost.
