I haven't read a ton of FF (maybe half of Lee/Kirby, Waid's run, and Ultimate FF until Greg Land drove me away).

Mostly I remember my neighbors in the dorm listening to electronica, usually Firestarter on a loop, and playing MarioKart64 for at least 6 hours at a time.

Come to think of it, weren't there a few snide comments in 300 about those "boy-loving" intellectual sissies over in Athens?

My first thought was the Wallflowers, which I think that actually came out in 96, but I heard it constantly all through 1997. Goldeneye is by far the best of the Brosnan movies (and the game rocks),
but I'll stand up for the Denise Richards-less parts of The World Is Not Enough.

My brother and I used to play Masters of Orion as the Bulrathi, mostly so we could call them the Goddamn Space Bears

Space walruses do sound pretty cool.

Who?

Yes she is. She also was really good on the Daily Show, if you're interested in seeing more of her work.
