Writing what they know, I guess?
Writing what they know, I guess?
I like his music a lot, and he's a local boy, but I grit my teeth a little every time at the name.
Same here, I really like Bug, the others not so much. But I can't fault DC for trying something different.
I thought Eden was supposed to be up near Gallatin (or so my in-laws from northwestern Missouri always told me)
I've lived in St. Louis most of my life, so maybe it's relative, but I went to college in Kansas City and loved it there. Nice people, great food, low cost of living, easy to find your way around (though KC drivers are significantly worse than STL, and I'll fight anyone who says otherwise).
Interesting. That would mean she's been in the present a couple years now. Like I said, probably best not to think about these things
That could be about half of a Spider-Man game, and it would be a great game.
That sounds about right. And this Jean is, what, 16 or so? I guess those were an extremely eventful 3-5 years, but still.
I may be remembering this wrong, but didn't he fight exploding Joker Fish too?
Because then it wouldn't be a Batman story, let alone a Grant Morrison story
No, Talia drugged him and then Ra's grew their baby in a tank in his lab.
Amen. It took a long time, but I've really grown to love the little psycho.
Those do tend to be the best Morrison stories, I think the effort to be commercial sort of keeps him on track. But that said, this still sounds like a terrible idea to me.
Wouldn't be the first time, I'm betting
Pretty much. I loved Chris Burnham's art on Batman inc., but this sounds like an all-around terrible idea.
Ooh, thanks for the heads up.
I've been meaning to get that one. Karnak definitely has one of the most interesting and under-explored powers of any character out there.
That's either the best or worst idea I've heard all day, but it sounds interesting. I love the art in that link.
I may have to check that out. After their Daredevil and Black Widow runs, I'm pretty sure Waid and Samnee are the best team in comics right now.
I love Aamir. Even the most well-intentioned writer could have so easily made him an awful, self-righteous stereotype, but he's just a good dude who looks out for his sister.
