Better Off Ned
Dorne to be Wild

You have to be king of Westeros.

Game of Thrones has a main storyline?

I agree, there are big trade-offs at work here. For example, a lead actor who can't talk needs full use of his face, and there is no sane reason why Black Bolt would need a mask since everyone knows perfectly well who he is, yet a maskless Black Bolt just looks wrong.

Here it looks like an actual stripe in her hair. In the comics, I'm not sure if even Kirby knew (see also: where Big Barda's hair ends and her helmet begins)

You joke, but…

I think we've all had enough of Marvel dicking around with Cosmic Cubes lately, thank you very much.

I just don't think it's possible to do a non-ridiculous version of Medusa in live action. Same with Reed Richards.

Yes, and he's playing a prince named Maximus the Mad. It shouldn't be a huge stretch for him.

And yet they kept those weird stripes in Crystal's hair.

Well, it was, at least.

But we did have giant cube-shaped spacecraft, so there's that.

I've seen the 1998 yearbook from the university where I work, and literally every third or fourth page has a "Do I make you horny?" or "We put the GRRR in Swinger, Baby!" on it somewhere.

Ha, probably not, but I always thought there was comedy gold in that scene. Imagine Depp stumbling around and hamming his way through his death scene, while the entire cast stands in line for their turn to stab him.

Huh, I didn't know that. Of course, $20 says that Trump has never even heard of William Henry Harrison, so it probably doesn't matter either way.

I could almost see him pull a William Henry Harrison, getting pneumonia from proving he was manly/stubborn/stupid enough to stand in a freezing rain for three hours.

No doubt, but if Depp plays the character I think he is, he could have some really prime opportunities to Depp it up, acting-wise.

Agreed. In all honesty, saying "Her?" at the mention of her name is half reflex at this point.

Her?

Parents need to talk to their kids about stuff like this. Would you really want them to learn about Jar-Jar on the streets?
