Yeah, I think Lee gets sort of a bad rap anymore. His faults are well documented, but there's a certain amount of consistency to Stan Lee books, regardless of artist, that I think makes it clear he was doing more than just putting his name on creations of Kirby, Ditko, et al.

Upgrade Soul looks very cool, I'll have to check that out.

I was thinking of doing Planetary, but you should probably take me off the list, at least for now. Work is killing me, and I don't think I'll have the time.

Hipster Viking is what Kamala and her friends call him in Ms. Marvel. Come to think of it, I'm not sure they know his actual name.

Joke if you want, but these things saved lives. How many of us would have been dumb enough to play with downed power lines if Shipwreck hadn't told us not to?

And knowing is half the Battle!!!!

So I've heard.

"Next on Fox News: Hannity and Idiot"

Missouri is one of those "30 states with some stupid variation of a state seal on a blue background", but in our defense:
(a) it's actually a red, white, and blue background, so way more patriotic, and
(b) Our state seal has TWO bears on it, and is therefore twice as cool as California.

I think there are still a few bars in south St. Louis that serve fried brain sandwiches. They were considered a local specialty, once upon a time.

I've never been a big fan of Slott, Allred, or the Surfer, but the three of them together are pretty much perfect.

I'm a sucker for pretty much anything Fourth World, and Forager is a criminally underused piece of it. I'm not the biggest fan of Mike Allred, but good lord does he make Forager look good

Ha, lucky number you!

What's the point of watching basketball if they're not going to be talking about him?

They're a bunch of obnoxious assholes who keep winning Super Bowls, but that's not important right now…

EXACTLY!

Every time I see Bannon's picture, I think of this:

Same here, I've been lurking a lot lately but not having much to add.

That was a great era. When I was first getting into comics (circa 2001) and working my way through the public library's collection, Chuck Dixon was the first name that I noticed was usually on books I liked. I actually found a few of his Knightfall-era Robin books recently, and they held up surprisingly well.

That was a highly underrated run. It got all weird and Morrison-y towards the end (and I mostly mean that as a compliment), but I LOVED young troublemaker Superman running around in jeans and a blue t-shirt.
