So out of curiosity, what does it take to make these engines sing (in terms of parts & price?) I mean, I know that emissions controls of the time are largely what hindered their power output - but at the end of the day, an engine this big wants to breathe free and make power. Are we talking a new carb/new

I get your point - by “like this” I mean, like, high-spec, complicated vehicles like this one as opposed to your old-school W123 200D, which would be worth $2,200 if this mileage had a 1 in front of it

You know, I don’t know exactly where too many miles occur, but it’s definitely south of three hundred thousand for a car like this.

Controversial opinion: replica or no, these are my Dad’s dream car, not mine. $25k is within spitting distance of Viper money...

...am I missing something with the not-100% NP vote?
Is this not Jalop-bait, or is it a big deal that it’s not an SI?

I have an ‘00 XK8 convertible and was getting ready to type “or, save $30k and get basically the same car with a Jaguar badge” - but then I forgot about that V12. Voted NP.

“SOMEBODY COMPARED US TO A HONDA!”

I’ve yet to see anything as comfortable as this in any body other than a sedan

That grille is too reminiscent of those shitty Jeep crybaby grilles to get a NP from me for $195.00.

doesn’t that ranking in the linked article say that party pack 5 is the worst one?

nice price

For a lot of customers, used EVs represent excellent value as their depreciation tends to be very high - both due to people being nervous about unfamiliar technology, and the tax incentives ($7,500 federal plus whatever the states kick in can add up to a 5 digit discount). So you wind up with a car that’s newer and

Now playing

I love the sound of a high-revving engine, don’t you?
