Yeah, I feel slightly jealous of a political system that allows for something like this to be resolved through a popular vote, and then does so. Ultimately the proper result was achieved here, but a 5-4 Supreme Court decision is still pretty profoundly embarrassing.

Slightly suspect?

If this turns out to be true, it is the leading segment on

Nope, not enough. I want to say more.

“...a drug possession charge from a January 20 incident in which employees at Dulles International Airport reportedly found traces of narcotics on some personal belongings that McGowan had apparently left on a plane.”

And hey, as a fair-minded person, I would take exception to the way Cranston phrased his commentary as well, “...to that person, I would say, ‘Fuck you.” But what I’d hope is that if I presented my same commentary to him as I did IMHO, he would say, “Yeah, I get that. That was probably not the right way to say that.”

Maybe I’m just responding to a general tone.

I guess my “excuse” is that I like to see people treated fairly and their positions examined from a good-faith perspective. You can conclude that his perspective is essentially naive and therefore wrong, but there’s no reason to presume that it’s hateful and therefore warranting your own hatred in response.

“In the multitude of current sexual assault and harassment accusations, perhaps none is more disappointing (so far) than the accusation against George Takei.”

“After this and your previous declaration about Trump...”

Never forget, never surrender!

Due to the immutable properties of the Butterfly Effect, I would say that I did.

Hey, I recently lost my job and I spraypainted “Fuck” on a couple of people’s Donald Trump yard signs. Where’s my 80 grand?

“Tom Sizemore was “told to leave” the set of Born Killer.”

So basically, for the sake of optics an advertiser pulls their commercials. Then he gets wind of people singling out his company for doing so, and calls his good buddy Sean Hannity and says, “Look, you get it. You know why I had to pull my spots. But how about you comp me a few favorable mentions, get me good with

It’s almost as if celebrities are humans subject to standard human flaws and failings.

“In a fawning press release...”

You don’t hear a lot of people referring to “crimes of intellectual rigor.”

I think we all understand we’ve reached a point where certain things cannot be discussed with any measure of dispassionate remove, because passion is the highest regard and concern. Of course that makes sense, because only the best things, particularly as they pertain to intellectual pursuit and understanding, come
