@RockyRan: Those fancy engines the games run on aren't cheap... and remember when you buy a game, your also paying a bit more for all those other high-budget titles that didn't sell as well as planned.

@GeneralBattuta: yea but they still seem cartoony, and i noticed it in ODST too. the movements weren't natural. Halo 1 2 nor 3 felt that way if memory serves me well

@Sabazios: Clearly Eric Clapton and Pantera want you to kill your local senators.

@Alsandair: There needs to be more achievements related to killing npc's a certain way or preformance with certain aspects of the game. It sounds easy, but I still see games forgo this method in favor of "collect x object y many times" or "kill x npc y many times".

Achievements are as valuable as you make them to be. If you pick up all that crap then it's because you wanted too.

All I had to look at was "Blunt Trauma" and "High Times" to prove to myself the standards had gone down.

@Killer Toilet: Yea the pot things tripped me up the most. This was the most shocking lack of grace they showed to me, and it really pointed out thier standards had fallen in place of profits.

Shitstorm incoming yall. This is gonna get good before it gets over...

Noticed the pot+kettle reference in the top left.

I though Shadowrun effectively proved what happen when controllers met with mouse-users. Thankfully, this thing doesn't work as well as I thought so this time it doesn't really apply, but what about when they get it right?

Allright Kotaku. I'm finally planning on attending PAX this year. However, I live in the southeast and I'll be taking a plane to Boston. I need some tips here from people who know PAX east a bit better. Things like the best eating options, the booths with the reputation for being worth the time, and what the hell

Get a haircut!

...Who's buying all this stuff to keep the game going?!

Minecraft has mechanics and physics, lets you do what you want for the most part, doesn't require "tending to", and most importantly doesn't come with all the BS facebook games do.

Now get back to work on making SSD's cheap.

@battra92: I was actually very confused about him at first, I also noticed the media not knowing how they wanted to paint(market) him several times for the people. He had a drinking problem and had paranoid and hypocritical ideas he posted everywhere, not to mention all the other crazy shit you can find about him. Why

@hutch_a_butch: nope, i kind of thought the same thing. i was like, "this sounds like normal teenager stuff" until I read his favorite books and the blurting shit out part. as the article states, yes, crazy people like video games and music too. oh, and drinking fucking tequila during highschool, while at school...

So what exactly does flipping the switch that says "HMDI" on the 360 video cable do? And why do I have to plug in 3 extra colored cables?
