How about the simplest/best excuse there is?

View change upon further thought. When a person buys the game and sells it back, he's inlcuding the online license as well. This goes everytime the game exchanges hands.

@Astronomaly: side-note, the US gov't taxes used cars both on new and used sells. Fun fact about double-taxataion.

@MichaelPalin: Beat me to the point : /. It means there's still only one game circulating, it's not like the old person is still playing online obviously.

Don't play it, but I can respect a good business move.

@Korbei83: Thought it was mroe like, free to try extensively, pay to play the real game? It's not new to hold back all the extra content to free players. Runescape comes to mind.

Take the cue the emblem is trying to tell us. The message will read:

Toms hardware did it's candid interviews with differnet people involved with different companies like Intel and ATI, and when the question came up if CPU with GPU functionality would ever be close to using a good CPU with a dedicated mid-range GPU, they all said we weren't even close to that point yet.

@KagaSakai: Hm, can't recall them being allowed to wear jeans, but I don't venture there much so your more than likely right. Still it'd take a little bit more than jeans to fix that place...

@Jon: And what about the stories of Frank and West collaborating with EA beforehand? Does activision really hold copies of emails and texts sent back between EA and the devs? If so doesn't that mean they did break the law?

I've found anywhere but Gamestop to suffice, because truthfully I hate the atmosphere those stores give off, it's like walking into a Best Buy dedicated to video games. Maybe if they let the employes wear less formal dress they wouldn't come off as such douches? Maybe less lying? I dunno. Also the Gamestop's attract

I just wish I could be given one good single fact so I can finally decide whose side I'm on. No closer to leaning one way or the other since day one of all this.

I wonder what's with all the leaks lately... Mann Co. must have finally opened it's doors to China.

@Kryptolojik: Because you were comparing Activisions attempts to bring CoD into a "pay-to-play" model to Battlefields recent flip-flops of going from a "disc" game to a multiplayer only game, however it isnt a crediable comparison, and it doesn't sound like you play Battlefield very often.

I'm sure they'll introduce dedicated servers like it's something new, and use those as justification for the subscription you'll have to pay.

@Kryptolojik: All true Battlefield game are multiplayer only? 1942 doesn't require more money past purchasing it? And last I checked there not really doing another half baked BF game anytime soon either.

Screw the WoW crap, he's real life friends started to ignore him?

The raids seem to be quite brutal and unforgiving now to anyone not to that point yet. Be prepared to wipe for hours hours on end if your not a hardcore raiding guild.
