Battery engery density is increasingly at an average 3% a year at the same time as cost are falling at an average of 7% a year since lithium-ion was introduced. So it won’t be long before internal combustion becomes obsolete.

I’m a petrolhead from waaay back. Drove a Model S a couple years ago and the want grew until I got one (used for way less than sticker). First four door I’ve owned. It’s the most composed insanity both when romping the accelerator for straights & passing and when hooning its hulking (but low) mass through mtn passes.
