@Cheeseslap: "so continuing to drive the one you have—even if it's a '51 Chevy—is still lower impact than buying a hybrid."

@RamblinReck89: It undoubtedly is driven by assholes, but have you actually seen an SL 65 AMG Black in the flesh? Like the Rolls Royce Phantom, it's got massive presence that doesn't come across in photos.

Yo dawg, I heard you liked winglets, so I put winglets inside the winglets on your front wing in your F60, so you can wing it while you punch 23 buttons on your steering wheel.

@Jared904: 23 buttons and dials! 4 displays! My Playstation 3 controller keeps flinging itself at the computer monitor and turning its Dualshock vibration to max.

Do you format your disk partitions with ReiserFS 3, Reiser4, or "Live from San Quentin MurderFS" ?

@Crash Bandihoon: Whereas a straight man faced with diminished employment opportunities is easily led into taking his clothes off, jumping on top of a pile of other men, and "getting gay".

@A.Jaswal: Thanks for the explanation. And a DB9 coupe in Pinewood Green (closest to British Racing Green) is a different, finer, class of car. And I save about $230,000 that I don't have. Sleep restored.

@fratto: I think every state has suburban two-car families and urban commuters with access to a plug. A BEV can be a success even if it only works for a subset of car buyers.

@Van Sarockin, rogue trebuchet: Ahh the mystery of product planning at a big confused corporation; it may be a good sign the big division got to introduce the Voltec powertrain. Whatever division sells it, the Volt is a low volume specialty vehicle, GM is only planning to make 10,000 in 2011. (Meanwhile Nissan is

looks like the fastest prancing stallion ever

@Bauhaus: Supposedly this has the same Voltec powertrain and the same big T-shaped battery pack. The jacked-up SUV shape lets the whole battery pack fit under the floor instead of blocking a center rear seat as it does in the 4-passenger Chevy Volt.

@Optixtruf: But with a plug-in car the breeders have a few fun things to replace their dreams: refueling at home, minimizing gasoline usage on the soccer practice-Starbucks-mall route, etc. All while genuinely helping the environment (compared with driving an ICE-only CUV) because they're driving a genuinely

@ThreeLitre: b) automatic (becuase it's electric after all)

@rigidjunkie: When a hybrid becomes garbage the valuable battery will be recycled (and if it isn't it is far less toxic than lead ACID batteries in conventionl cars), and the rest of the car is no worse than other modern cars. While the driver was carting around an extra hundred pounds of battery, he or she was

@Lotucris: Thanks, you beat me to it. Yuppie Ken at 0:54 wailing "Oh No" along with David Lee Roth as Barbie dumps him is magic!

The SLS AMG harkens back, badly, to the 300SL Gullwing. It sounds like another GT miss from Mercedes with trick doors, much like the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren 722. It's smoked by the SL65 AMG Black series in power, speed, and performance, but that doesn't have amazing doors.
