The petrol fumes sure blind the haters around here. The USA is way out front with a $109,000 all-electric all-carbon fiber sports car. It's faster and has a bigger range than the Audi étron fantasy and the other all-electric concepts at Frankfurt but it's available and selling in decent numbers.
