Friend of mine had one of these back in the day. It was a blast. Continuously half broken, build quality of a grade 3 paper mache class, but strangely always running. Always ran! And a hoot to drive off road especially in snow.

As stated by another poster, 10% of the chargers made could potentially qualify as “fast GT car” the rest are garbage renta car fleet vehicles with not much power, an antique platform with questionable suspension, handling and build quality.

The first time I ‘legit drove” was the day i got my licence. I had taken Drivers Ed and had a learners permit allowing me to drive with my parents in the car, but me alone “driving”? Actually attaining the freedom promised in films, and songs? The for real dream of actually driving a car where and when I wanted to?
