There's a reason why Silver describes it as an 11 year old with a sugar high from Mountain Dew.

Mine was 'this indicates undecideds and instability in polling'.

Also the one that nearly gave me a heart attack during the RNC/DNC conventions.

Sure, but the now-cast picks up on immediate trends that highlight potential shifts in the future, and there is value in seeing what would happen *now*, which is what I believe he said on the latest podcast.

That's not that surprising. When her numbers were the same as they were a few months ago, NC was blue at least in polls-only, and it's been on the table for while.

The AZ wasn't a surprise, but the GA was! Looks like I'm going to be keeping an eye on Georgia in the future.

Did you see the 538 now-cast?

I'm listening to the VP ep and it's awesome.

I hope they keep it going after the election.

Trumpcast is only 20 mins long, so it's easy to get into.

I have been! I was 5/6 eps in then I fell into convention coverage.

I only started listening to it a week or so ago and I keep questioning why I didn't start sooner.

I think I read highlights from that, and that was great.

Honestly, anything 538 puts out is typically great. I tend to be listening to podcasts more than actually reading stuff, so if you're into that, I'd be recommending:
- 538's elections podcast
- Primary Concerns from The New Republic
- Slate's Trumpcast and Politcal Gabfest
- On Point has some great conventions stuff
- On

Their interview with Trump that was posted a few days ago was amazing.

Aus programming note: I now hate-watch The Bachelor and it might be one of the worst things on TV, which makes it great to laugh at and analyse the crap out of.

And that MSNBSea banner was my favourite Hamilton reference of the season.

That was the first thing that popped into my head too!

The last 5 minutes of John Oliver's main segment is the most defeated I've ever seen him.
