I was so confused last year when I started watching Friday Night Lights and Jesse Plemons was playing a genuinely nice guy.

"no longer riding moose in Hobbit movies."
and people watched this movie? lololol
I've been working my way through Flannery's collected short stories and have been looking for someone to rave about them. I love the way her mastery of realistic and psychological detail and gruesome sense of irony always seem to converge in tragedy. It's fascinating too how some of the best musicians - Springsteen,…
I haven't seen the movie, but I was still ticked when some skinny actress was given her original role in the forthcoming sequel. Curvy dames deserve their chance in the spotlight.
I started watching the theatrical version, then slowly became absorbed into the world of the story, bailed about half an hour into it and switched to the televised version. I'm only about a quarter of the way through the movie because I keep going back to watch things I've already seen. I must have seen the Christmas…
I saw Howl's Moving Castle, 2001: A Space Odyssey, and Fanny & Alexander. But the greatest of these was Fanny & Alexander.
Is this character's continued existence the worst-kept secret of all time?
Let's hope!
Prometheus 3: Hail, Horrors, Hail!
wait, did Prometheus reveal that the alien in ALIEN was actually engineered by man? I haven't seen Prometheus, but that would be pretty stupid.
Remember when this show was going to be the next LOST, but better?
Didn't Belle & Sebastian start out being primarily known for bootlegged recordings of Tigermilk?
wait, did Sean leave to write for that new site?
PM gonna get pig AIDS, LOL
FRINGE deserves to be more prominently mentioned. It began as a science-fiction procedural in the vein of The X-Files, but some of its episodes and images are among the most horrifying I can recall ever seeing on television - a man with six arms sticking out of his chest, a woman on a table about to be dissected…
wait, have you seen HUSH
I saw 'Ice' just a few weeks after I watched THE THING for the first time and was stunned by the blatant lifting. It's basically THE THING with Mulder and Scully.
The original Outer Limits is a work of genius - watching it, it's hard to imagine that anything so daring and experimental was allowed on network television in the early 1960s. That said, it's less of a horror series than the Twilight Zone, with more of a focus on science-fiction.
The Twilight Zone might be an old show, but it's remarkable how many episodes still hold up after five decades.
