Mad Men; Game of Thrones. In the second case I feel like I would rather wait and make sure the show doesn't end in a trainwreck before I commit to it.

It's only going to get worse when the credits for the Mad Men finale are interrupted by a surprise cameo by Samuel L. Jackson.

Yeah, I've never been able to explain why I don't like Battle Born as much as their first two albums. Stylistically it's not that different, and parts of the album demonstrate a maturity and deepening complexity in their songwriting… but it's not as good, and I don't know why.

The death of Sirius worked, though, because of the multiple tragic ironies she worked into it. Parts of the first book read like they were written by Todd VanDerWerff.

Between this and Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell, I'm so excited for the next year in television.

I stand by Sam's Town as one of rock's most underrated albums, and my personal favorite album by the Killers, although I admit that Hot Fuss is a better collection of songs.

I listened to this album a couple of times today. It's not too bad. It sounds like the Killers.

It saddens me too, as I had just started following him not three days ago :(

Ha! This may explain my boundless affection for that movie.

Day officially made.

My siblings and I used to love some of those shows growing up, especially Fresh Prince and Family Matters. But then my mom got a new boyfriend who wouldn't let us watch them because they were "black propaganda." #texas

Oh man, does that bring me back
