And i respected James Cameron for keeping the ‘mother’ motiff going forward throughout Aliens. I mean i literally smiled in the theatre right at the beginning of the movie when he shows Ripley in cryo... then overlays her on ‘mother earth’ to cut to earth. Right then i thought “he gets it”.

Man, seeing this and Aliens in the theater was an absolute joy. I can’t wait to watch this video over my lunch break.
